On a stormy night, after winning his first hand of Mahjong, Akagi continues playing against Ryuzaki and his gang members, as he slowly awakens to his latent talents. Akagi quickly turns the tide in his favor and takes the lead, so Ryuzaki calls in his last resort, Rep player Yagi.

Casshern meets up with a robotic couple and their dog named Friender. He finds out that they reside with a total of 10 robots, seeking to live in peace until they die. The robots turn on Casshern, and attempt to eat him to survive, being tempted by his completely un-decomposed body. Casshern is forced to defend himself, and attacks the robots. Unfortunately, he goes berserk and kills even those that have no intention on hurting him, leaving Friender as the only survivor.

Takumi believes the girl is here to kill him, but the girl laughs it off having no idea what he is talking about. After looking into her eyes, he remembers her name as Rimi Sakihata. At first he's confused in why he suddenly knows her name, but then Misumi says that three of them have been friends since the first year; he shows a picture of them at an amusement park as proof and Rimi believes because he constantly absence at school, he might have forgotten her. While at home, Seira believes he was hallucinating about Rimi and is surprised to find Rimi in his home checking up on him. Takumi at first he thinks was an illusion, but then realizes otherwise and is freak out and orders her to get out. At the same time, the police have found surveillance footage who they believe is a suspect of the murdered staked man. It shows Takumi running with a stake in his hand; but the video is not clear enough to show his face and only shows his school suit. After his encounter with Rimi, he accompanies Yua to pre-order the latest Seira figurine which surprises Nanami who tells him to treat her properly. As they interact more with each other, Takumi takes a liking to Yua as she accepts him for who he is and they later go to a park. He notices that her bag has 3 frogs attached to it, just like the bag he saw at the internet cafe several days ago. In trying to give him one of the frogs, Yua accidentally spills out the contents of her bags. Takumi then realizes that she has been conducting a lot of research on the New Generation incidents all along. Takumi, who is frightened with delusional thoughts, attempts to run. She prevents him and confronts him about what he’s hiding by pulling out one of the cross-shaped stakes as she had seen the same stake in his room during their first meeting. Despite her suddenly threatening nature, she claims that she only wanted to ascertain if he knew about it. She also states that she is curious about whether or not Takumi has the power of precognition. Her reasoning behind this are the images of the third incident that were sent to Takumi. Takumi claims that he got them from someone called Shogun and wonders if Yua is that person. Yua, however, explains that the images were found on the computer he was using at the internet cafe. She then produces the chat logs between him and Shogun. The timestamps on all of Takumi’s messages were from Sunday, but all of Shogun’s messages were from Monday at the same time that Takumi was at the internet cafe. Yua finally concludes that Takumi is Shogun. Nevertheless, she lets him go, and Takumi returns home playing his MMORPG solemnly, thinking that he doesn’t belong in this world.

The school is shut down so Chinami takes a tour of the town. She meets Kotaro working at his family business and runs away. Kotaro once again asks Chinami if she would go out with him for the sake of science and she finally agrees.

Ciel is kidnapped for ransom, but Sebastian easily defeats a mob of underlings and retrieves his master.

Michiko tries to convince Hana, whom she nicknamed "Hatchin", to cooperate with her, but the duo end up ambushed by detective Atsuko Jackson, an old enemy of Michiko, who is determined to send her back to prison.
